Welcome to a literary slice of adventure hosted with both an introductory Foreword and an Afterword at our journey’s end that is a homage to Ray Bradbury. His stories and narratives took as many twists and turns with the unexpected as do my own. Bradbury was among my great inspirations as a writer of short stories with whom an eventual friendship of the pen ensued which became an endearing gift that is now a splendid memory of the last decade of his life. I invite you to lend me your imagination and accompany me into eight very different literary realms and genres. From the Maritime to Thriller and Suspense and Primitive Adventure to Fantasy and the Supernatural to the Psychological, Gothic and Horror and Of Human Interest. Each short story is easily a blueprint for a novel or larger body of work but, in this collection, brevity is its true strength.
